Bobby Lin is obsessed with ping pong and graphic design. He is currently balancing his off court time between his position as Marketing & Communications manager at the media arts non-profit Asian CineVision and the full time work that comes with pursuing an MFA in Design & Technology at Parsons the New School for Design.
Born in Taiwan and raised in Queens, Bobby has been playing ping pong since the age of 10 and making art and design since even before that. His undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley consisted of interdisciplinary work centered around Image & Representation. After leaving California with an MA, Bobby decided to strike out for the Far East and reconnect with his roots in Taiwan. In his three years in the capital city of Taipei, he worked as a translator by day and photographer by night.
Upon his return to New York City, Bobby joined Asian CineVision to help with marketing the 32nd Asian American International Film Festival while freelancing in design.
